Kevin Schiereck
Kevin Charles Schiereck, 36, passed away unexpectedly on April 11th, 2022 at his Mothers home in Oxford, New Jersey. Kevin was born on March 15th, 1986 to Kimberly Schmiedeke and Lawrence Schiereck in Freehold, New Jersey. At 4 weeks old Kevin moved to Oxford where he grew up and made many lifelong friends. Kevin attended Warren Hills Regional High School, and most recently was working as a team leader for LST and Nelson landscaping companies.
Kevin loved children and all animals. As a young boy he bred birds, fish, and even hatched and raised Oriental Golden Pheasants. Kevin never met a dog he didn’t love or that didn’t love him.
Kevin loved the outdoors. He spent much time in Oneonta NY, with Ted Stucka, his home away from home, where he fished and hunted with friends. He won awards from the Oxford Sporting Annual Archery Competition where he placed 1st, the NYS Big Buck Club, and holds a New York State record for a trophy buck in 2017. Kevin enjoyed 4-wheeling and snowboarding. Not only was Kev a spirited ice hockey player he was a avid fan of the New Jersey Devils and the Boston Bruins.
