Matthew Conlon
Our beloved Matthew Conlon passed on January 16th, at the age of 30, after a long struggle with addiction. His quiet presence and magnetic smile were felt by everyone he met. Matty was a lover of Boston sports and was most comfortable on the basketball court. He was the type of player who went for the assist and took a charge, and that was how he lived his life, with constant compassion and love for others, no matter who they were. We miss his quick wit and his ability to make us belly-laugh. Even in the deepest points of addiction, he always tried to show up and be there for those he loved. He was the baby of our family, and his aunts called him the “God Bless Us Save Us Child.”
Our family wants to thank everyone for the love they’ve shown Matty throughout his life and since he has passed. We mourn alongside all other families who have lost loved ones to addiction. We invite you to use his story to help someone struggling.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to The Family Restored.
With Love,
The Conlons
