Catherine Rawson

Scholarship & Communications Coordinator

Originally from Indiana, Catherine moved to Maine in 2010. She first connected with The Family Restored in 2012 after speaking at a Family Support Group. After finding her way back to long-term recovery in January 2016, Catherine became deeply involved in Portland’s vibrant 12-step and greater recovery community.

Catherine has volunteered with the organization for a number of years through facilitating groups and supporting events, and she is grateful to officially join the team as our Scholarship & Communications Coordinator. Catherine’s professional background is diverse and people-oriented, spanning work in special education, human resources, and roles within recovery community organizations and treatment centers.

Outside of work, Catherine enjoys spending time with her family, exploring Maine, bowling, and heading to the next concert whenever possible.
