Courtney Carleo

Courtney started her journey in recovery in 2014 and soon after moved to Portland, ME to seek continued support in the 12-steps. After learning about the Family Restored and the work they were doing she was drawn to become a part of the team. She started by screening applications, volunteering at events and found her love of helping family members. She is currently a Family Support Group facilitator for the Stoneham, MA meeting.

In 2021, Courtney co-founded 412 Inc., an organization which aims to support those who seek freedom from addiction through the 12-steps and helped open the organization’s first 12-step sober house in Medford, MA.

Courtney moved back to Massachusetts with her loving husband Michael (also in recovery) in 2017 to be closer to family and to bring what she learned in Maine back to her community. She is currently a personal injury paralegal in Salem, MA where she can utilize what she learned in the 12-steps to help client’s get through painful life events.
