Don Harrington

Don and his wife Jini struggled for years trying to find help and guidance for how to deal with their son’s addiction. Like so many families, they tried to control and manage their son’s recovery, pursuing outpatient programs, the Vivitrol shot, driving their son to meetings and therapy.

It wasn’t until they attended their first Family Restored Support Group meeting in March of 2016 that they were introduced for the first time to the 12-Step form of recovery. The ATF meetings changed their lives and became instrumental in their own journey as well as their son’s recovery.

Don and his wife have become passionate supporters of The Family Restored; attending ATF meetings, fundraising, speaking at meetings and helping at The Family Restored events. Don speaks and volunteers at many recovery events and is a member of the town of Braintree, Massachusetts Community Partnership on Substance Use.

Don is currently Managing Director of CapAcuity and was previously one of the founders of Westport Strategies, which merged with CapAcuity in 2019. Don earned his bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College and his master’s degree from Long Island University.
